I'm nowhere

I'm in the centre
clearly out of focus
they scream, they whisper
I scream unheard, unseen
bruised and cornered

I'm in the dark
shutting the lights out
looking ahead and I blink
quite dazed and hazed
and silently I absorb

I'm in the rain
taking in its tears
sadly soaked and dripping
feeling the cold drops
taking it all inside

I'm in the fog
searching my way out
being fooled at every step
finally I realise and sigh
I'm once again...nowhere
